September 2016 Open House Wrap-Up

Last night we welcomed Jill Kemble with the Senior Center of West Seattle. Jill highlighted volunteer opportunities within the senior center and spoke about how it’s a place for more than just one demographic. We think so too – without their support, we wouldn’t have a place to hold some of our events.

One of our members, and her therapy dog Clover Bear, made a connection with hopes of utilizing his services within the senior center community. Ukulele playing was also a popular topic, with yet another connection made. Several members are hoping to get together soon to forage for quince. It was a fun night for all in attendance! Thank you to all who came.
