On Day 28… we encourage you to ‘Take Action’! If you have been following along this month, there have been many ways to provide services, use your talents, and receive the same. The possibilities are endless.

Here are a few ways to ‘Take Action’ in the West Seattle Timebank:

  1. We welcome you to think of your own talents and needs – and then post away! The key to a vibrant timebank is participation. Maybe you can’t participate every week, but consider checking in with us monthly to keep the flow of ideas fresh. Also, watch for your Monday email showing the newest posts.
  2. Our gatherings are monthly, on the third Thursday of each month.¬†Mark your calendar now and watch for updates throughout the year. All are welcome – whether you be a current member, lapsed member, interested community member that may not even want to join, already part of another timebank across the nation, or any other category of “neighbor”. It’s truly ‘the more the merrier’ at our gatherings.
  3. If you are not a member, this is the perfect time to join. It’s free! Join us by filling out our secure online application¬†here. We’ll get you setup and you can be on your way to earning hours and fulfilling requests. It’s easy, free to join, and takes only a small amount of your time.
  4. Help Your Timebank. The Timebank always needs help to stay active in the communities we serve. Do you have talent in social media, website content, an interest in outreach or have interest in being a board member? Volunteering time for your Timebank can only make it more vibrant. Find ways to help out on our database or send an email to westseattletimebank@gmail.com. Volunteering can be one-time or ongoing. Have an idea that isn’t listed here? Members are always welcome to start up new projects.
