Fall Events with Our Partners in the Community

Are you looking for a fun activity that might just support one of our partners in West Seattle, White Center, or Burien? Many of these are family-oriented and span several days towards the end of the month. Bring on Fall with these fabulous activities!

Come and enjoy the Harvest Festival – complete with the West Seattle Farmer’s Market and Trick or Treating. The West Seattle Timebank booth will help you make your very own Silly Putty Melting Jack-O-Lanterns. We can always use a few volunteers, so if you like crafting, this one is for you! Email us at westseattletimebank@gmail.com with interest in volunteering at our booth. The young and young-at-heart are welcome at our booth. Wear your costume or come and join in the spirit of the West Seattle Harvest Festival.

November 1st, 2016 (5PM-8PM) – Dia De Los Muertos Celebration with DNDA

Join DNDA in celebrating and honoring loved ones who have passed on. This evening will be full of culture, food, and even sugar skulls! If you have never been to a Dia De Los Muertos celebration, I encourage you to go. This is truly a celebration that combines entertainment with touching tributes to those that are loved long after they have passed. Our partner organization, Youngstown Arts, can always use a few volunteers. Bank time by emailing Nafasi Ferrell at nafasi@dnda.org and seeing how you can be of use.
